The Legacy of Vignobles Feray
Christian Feray's journey began in a modest background in the Loire Valley. Initially a schoolteacher, he later pursued a successful medical career in Normandy. However, his childhood fascination with Château Moncontour led him to take a bold step in 1994 by acquiring the estate, which was then struggling financially. With perseverance and the support of his son Gilles, who joined in 2003, they revitalized the vineyard and expanded their reach by acquiring additional estates in Vouvray, Chinon, and Cheverny. As of late 2023, Cassandre, Gilles' daughter, has joined the family business, marking the third generation dedicated to enhancing and promoting these exceptional vineyards.
