Domaine Vintur- Winery with one of the First completely Private Wine Cellar

The Domaine Vintur winery and estate is located in the magnificent Rhone Valley wine making region of France. The Domaine Vintur is unique in that it is home to one of the first completely private wine cellars in the Ventoux Appellation in the southern section of the Rhone Valley. The Domaine Vintur winery and estate was established during the 1970s and is now owned by Graham Shore, a British wine lover with a deep love for France and French wines, particularly those from the Rhone Valley region.

Winery using only Environmentally Friendly Operations

Since 2010, the winery team at Domaine Vintur have made a commitment to use only environmentally friendly processes and operations which has resulted in the estate obtaining an Ecocert certification.

The secret weapon in the production of high-quality Domaine Vintur wines has been Graham Shore’s collaboration with esteemed English wine maker James Wood.

James has brought to Domaine Vintur a wealth of international experience. As the cellar master, James has realised the benefits of combining old and new winemaking methods resulting in a beautiful Rhone Valley whites which have gained both local and international acclaim.

Wine Classifications

The classification of the Domaine Vintur wines is the AOP Ventoux IGP Vin de Pays De Vaucluse. The grape varietals produced at Domaine Vintur are Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvedre, Merlot, Marselan, Cinsault, Cairgnan, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Roussanne and Bourboulenc. These are used to produce a spectacular range of red, white, rose and sparkling wines. Many of these wines have won high prize and awards and both local and international wine competitions and are enjoyed by wine lovers across the globe.
