The Dourakis Family Display Great Dedication and Passion
Andreas Dourakis initiated the journey of Dourakis Winery in the early 1980s. Later in 1988, he opened the doors of the winery to his visitors. In the beginning, he had only a few barrels in an old shed, where he used to store his wines. Today, the company is a fully operating boutique winery, owning several vineyards and a modern wine cellar. All the Dourakis Family members work with great dedication and passion and export their world-class wines across Europe, China, Canada, and the USA.
Natural and Traditional Methods of Viticulture
The Dourakis Family values nature and the environment, so they use traditional viticulture methods to cultivate a wide range of grapes. Some of the estate’s famous vines include Vilana, Vidiano, Muscat of Spinas, Malvasia, and Madilari. Out of 17 other varietals, the winery grows top-quality Kotsifali, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with Romeiko and Grenache.
Dourakis Winery caters to many culinary events, art exhibitions, presentations, concerts, and much more for guests. They provide space for weddings, christenings, birthday, and other celebrations uniquely paired with a combination of wine and food.
