Located in the picturesque Rethymno region of Crete, Klados Winery is a family-owned boutique winery dedicated to producing exceptional wines that reflect the island's unique terroir. Since 1997, the Klados Family has been committed to crafting high-quality wines that blend tradition with modern techniques, showcasing Crete’s indigenous grape varieties.

One of our standout achievements is our dedication to the Vidiano grape, a rare indigenous variety that we were among the first to promote. Known for its elegant aromas and balanced structure, Vidiano serves as a true representative of Cretan winemaking. Our vineyards benefit from the Mediterranean sun and mineral-rich soils, creating ideal conditions for producing authentic and expressive wines.

At Klados Winery, we believe that exceptional wine is crafted by passionate people. Our team is committed to sustainable viticulture and meticulous winemaking, all while respecting the land that nurtures our vines. Each bottle we produce tells a story of Crete—its history, flavors, and the dedication of those who cultivate its grapes.

We welcome you to visit us and taste our diverse range of wines. Experience the blend of nature, tradition, and warm hospitality that defines Klados Winery. Cheers to memorable moments in the heart of Crete!

We went there unannounced for a wine tasting. The wines were good and the place was pleasant. However, it took an unnecessarily long time between different wines. But we discussed the flavors during that time. Fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding area. Something that would have improved the experience would have been to take a tour of the vineyard and see how they make it.

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Maria took us on a personal winery tour and then we had a wine tasting with six wines. Maria gave great explanations about each of the wines tasted and it was accompanied by a nice plate of Cretan rusks and tomato. Great wine too!!!

A fine winery that was founded in 1997 and currently has 6 different wines in its range. Nice service and personal tour. Available to buy a cheese platter when you taste. We bought a few bottles to take home.

A fantastic afternoon tasting delicious organic wine at Klados Winery. The ladies serving the wine and giving us a tour were brilliant, very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were delicious and great value. This is an excellent afternoon and would highly recommend this winery to visit.

Wonderful setting, delicious wine tasting for a very small price. We also got a little tour of the factory. Only downside was that it was quite busy and we didn't have a reservation, so we spent quite some time here. But in such a pleasant atmosphere with nice drinks, not a problem!
