Wines the Result of Continuous Tradition
The Story of Estasi Wine
The Francesco di Filippo farm (grandfather of the current winemaker) was founded in March 1887, initially Francesco produced and marketed the Moscato Reale di Trani grape, the only vine that was grown on its land. Evolution under its structural and commercial form started from the early 2000s with the advent of the third generation and in this case with the winemaker Franco di Filippo, completely changing the working methodology of both grandfather Francesco and father Nicola; through a business ethics based on the craftsmanship, uniqueness and quality of the Moscato Reale di Trani autochthonous grape variety.
Wines the Result of Continuous Tradition
The company continues the tradition by working its own Moscato Reale grapes through a refinement process on naturalness, simplicity and professionalism, all essential elements to make your wines Ecstasy, Unique and Unmistakable. The grapes are ripe for harvesting in the first ten days of August, but by choice they are harvested late at the end of October, when the bunches are naturally dried on the plant until an ideal concentration of intense and persistent aromas and fragrances is reached. Mother Nature is expected to take its slow and natural course, when the bunches are naturally withered on the plant until an ideal concentration of intense and persistent aromas and fragrances is reached.
During the manual harvest, only the healthy bunches are chosen, while the bunches with molds (botrytis cinerea) are not harvested, in order not to compromise the extraordinary organoleptic qualities of the wine nectar, in order to obtain an elegant and entrancing wine.
