Generazione Alessandro is the project of three cousins – Benedetto, Anna and Benedetto – who, along with their fathers, have been running the family winery in the province of Palermo. Their passion for viticulture sprung at a young age by actively participating in the family grape harvests. Strengthened by years of honing a wide range of skills in their roles at the Alessandro di Camporeale company, the cousins decided to embark on a new endeavour on Etna, a territory with some of the most diverse viticultural features in the world, giving birth to wines with a unique and strong identity.

Over the years, each cousin developed a broad skill set through active roles within the Alessandro di Camporeale company, gaining experience across vineyard management, winemaking, sustainability, and international market development. This shared foundation eventually inspired a new vision: to explore a territory capable of offering a different yet equally compelling expression of Sicily.

That vision led them to Mount Etna, one of the most extraordinary and complex viticultural regions in the world. Here, extreme altitude, volcanic soils, dramatic temperature shifts, and ancient lava flows create an environment unlike any other. Fascinated by this natural diversity, the cousins launched Generazione Alessandro as a dedicated Etna project, focused on producing wines that faithfully reflect the mountain’s powerful character.

Through careful vineyard selection and a respectful, minimal-intervention approach, Generazione Alessandro crafts wines with a strong sense of place — refined, expressive, and deeply connected to Etna’s unique terroir. The project represents both continuity and evolution: a new generation honoring family tradition while boldly embracing one of Sicily’s most iconic wine landscapes.

Fantastic experience! We had a wonderful wine tasting paired with delicious local produce. The wine and food were amazing, and Alessia was very charismatic and spoke excellent English, perfect for us who don’t speak Italian.

First of all, wine tour was fantastic! We bought some bottles of wines from there! And lunch was better than any restaurant we tried around in Taormina!! We will visit again when we come here!

This place is a hidden gem! Alessia was so knowledgeable and friendly, she made the wine tasting a once in a lifetime experience. Truly a must see location, with Mount Etna in the background. The wine was fabulous and I can’t wait to return!
