The Historic Winery Giacobazzi in Modena
Located in the Modena region, Giacobazzi is an ancient winery, established in 1958 when Giacobazzi Family decided to stretch the small family business and renovate the winery. Pay a visit to this historic estate and cherish the taste of famous Lambrusco wines and some traditional food of the region.
The Winery Returns to the Family
Between 1991 and 1996, a division of the company took place, as it lost its beating heart. Antonio left the business after the involvement of Antonio’s brother’s, daughters, and sons-in-law. Unfortunately, in just a few years, Antonio’s brother sold the property to the Caldirola Group, a giant from Brianza. For several years, the company did not have any Giacobazzi Family member until 2014 when Antonio bought the winery back. Today, with the hard work of Antonio and his sons, the company has reached several countries in the world, including America and China. The winery has a solid link with sports and in that context with Gilles Villeneuve, a Canadian racing driver. Giacobazzi Winery has a special connection with football, volleyball, and now with Modena FC and Dante Canè in boxing as well.
Do Not Miss the Award-Winning Wines of Giacobazzi
Giacobazzi Winery uses vines that appear to be 100% Modena and cultivates them on different types of soil, scattered throughout the region. The owner grows a broad range of grapes, including Lambrusco Sorbara, Lambrusco Grasparossa, and Pignoletto. With these fruity grapes, the company produces a vast array of luscious red, white, and rosé wines, in combination with award-winning dessert and sparkling wines.
