Spanning 2 hectares, the vineyard boasts 60-year-old vines situated in the historically significant Mukhran Valley. Iago’s winemaking is centered on the Chinuri grape — a native variety deeply rooted in Georgia’s Kartli region. Among Georgia’s white wine grapes, Chinuri holds a special place for its distinctive character and long history. Evolving from wild vines and refined through centuries of careful cultivation, Chinuri embodies the true spirit of Kartli viticulture — pure, expressive, and unmistakably local. Iago’s Chinuri is one of his most acclaimed orange wines, capturing the essence and vitality of centuries-old Georgian winemaking traditions.
