Kalogris Organic Winery is a charming family-owned boutique winery located in the heart of Mantinia, Peloponnese. As the first winery in the region certified as a visitable winery by the Greek Ministry of Tourism, it offers a unique glimpse into a 150-year family legacy. Since 1992, Evangelos Kalogris has lovingly restored his grandparents' stone house and cellars, originally built in 1872. Visitors are warmly welcomed by the Kalogris family—Evangelos, Christina, and their daughters Tatiani and Kyriaki—who guide you through an enriching wine tasting experience paired with delicious homemade delicacies prepared by Christina.
The winery is committed to sustainable practices, focusing on protecting nature and preserving biodiversity. Spanning 30 acres, the vineyards are cultivated using organic methods, ensuring that every bottle reflects the purity of the land. The vinification process is entirely natural, with no additives, and the wines are served unfiltered and unfined. Each step, from growing to harvesting, is done by hand, accompanied by classical music to create a serene environment for the vines. This dedication to quality and nature results in wines that truly represent the essence of the Peloponnese region.

Beautiful space, warm, you don't want to leave. The owners have extensive and excellent knowledge of wine and are people who will welcome you warmly and hospitably. A visit is worthwhile due to the proximity to Athens (less than an hour and a half).

Great family owned winery with great variety of bio wines. We tasted a few labels with our favorite one being the dry red (Cabernet Sauvignon / Moschofilero - Greek vine variety) which was quite unique with a very interesting fruitful pallet. Also the cheese balls that come with the wine tasting are so flavorful 👌🏼 I’d defiantly recommend it for any wine enthusiast (or not) the area is also very nice with lots of nature.

A Must-Visit Destination! I had the pleasure of visiting Kalogris Winery in Arcadia and what an amazing experience it was! The place is beautifully decorated, oozing with charm and character. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about their wine, which made the tasting an informative and delightful experience. Now let's talk about the wine - Oh my goodness! Every sip was a pure delight to the senses! Each varietal was a masterpiece in its own right. The flavors were rich, complex, and well-balanced, leaving me wanting more. Overall, Kalogris Winery is a must-visit destination for wine lovers and enthusiasts alike. Exceptional wines, non touristic destination, and welcoming staff- what more could one ask for? I highly recommend checking out Kalogris on your next visit to Arcadia.
