Quinta De Sant’ana – An Exciting Story that Began Over Thirty Years Ago

A beautiful tale started in Portugal when James Frost arrived at his in-law’s house. His father-in-law gave him two things – a key to the abandoned house and a Portuguese word. Upon reaching the place, he found that the key wouldn’t fit. He met a couple of people who offered him a red wine. This inspired James, and in 1999, he renovated the building and replanted the vineyards. Since then, there is continuous advancement in the winery and commitment to produce high-quality wines. Today, the winery features various adventures for tourists in innovatively architectured venues, such as vineyards, courtyard, reception hall, patios, olive oil press, annexe, chapel and many more.

Vineyards aren’t just for Vine Cultivation but Other Purposes as well

Guests and wine-lovers can find several types of grapes grown in the 12 hectares of vineyards, including Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Merlot, Ramisco, and Pinot Noir. Some parcels shelter fruity Tinta Miúda, Fernão Pires, Arinto, Sauvignon Blanc, Alvarinho, and Riesling. The harvesting is done manually. Apart from that, vineyards are the place where you can organize your memorable wedding events and corporate meetings.
