An Organic Winery with More to Offer

Quinta De Sant’Ana is a charming family-run winery located in the picturesque Lisbon region, boasting stunning views of the Atlantic coastline. This estate is not just about producing exceptional wines; it also welcomes visitors to its scenic summer houses and hosts private events. Surrounded by ancient trees and cobblestone paths, Quinta De Sant’Ana provides a memorable experience for all who visit.

A Rich History of Winemaking

The story of Quinta De Sant’Ana began over thirty years ago when James Frost arrived at his in-law’s estate. He was handed a key to an abandoned house, but it didn’t fit. After sharing a glass of red wine with locals, James was inspired to renovate the property and replant the vineyards in 1999. Since then, the winery has evolved, focusing on producing high-quality wines and offering unique experiences in beautifully designed spaces, including vineyards, a courtyard, a reception hall, and even a chapel.

Vineyards for Wine and More

The estate spans 12 hectares of vineyards, where a variety of grapes thrive, including Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Merlot, Ramisco, and Pinot Noir. Other grape varieties such as Tinta Miúda, Fernão Pires, Arinto, Sauvignon Blanc, Alvarinho, and Riesling are also cultivated. The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring quality. Additionally, the vineyards serve as a stunning backdrop for weddings and corporate events, making it a versatile location for special occasions.

I loved this place, beautiful, bucolic and pleasant. I attended a party organized with unlimited drinks and excellent quality food, it was a wonderful day in the company of dear friends. Nooks and crannies of the Quinta are explored and new attractions are found there.

We went to Quinta de Sant’Ana for a wine tasting, and it was an amazing experience. Tiago and his team were incredible hosts, and taught us a lot about the wines and the wine making process. The pairings with various local tapas were perfect, and everything was delicious. The grounds and the vineyard are beautiful as well. All around great experience and would absolutely recommend it.

Truly- magical. We had the most lovely tour around the vineyard (which is absolutely gorgeous- no words) stopping to enjoy tastings of wine (best we had in Portugal) and little bites to eat. My friend and I are both GF and they made sandwiches with GF bread and crackers that were to die for!! We went to Lisbon and Porto and a village on the sea and this was my most favorite memory of our trip to Portugal in January. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness - I can’t stop thinking about Quinta de Sant’Ana do Gradil. 🙏✨💕

We had our wedding at the Quinta de Sant'Ana in October and it was incredible. The location is stunning, and we loved staying there during the wedding weekend. The food and drinks were great, the home grown flowers were incredible, and and the staff at the Quinta were absolutely fantastic to work with. They made planning a wedding abroad very easy and seamless, handling all of the little details for us. Our guests said it was the best wedding they're ever been to. I definitely recommend it!
