Azienda Vinicola Rivera winery: in the 3rd generation

Founded by Sebastiano de Corato in the late 1940s with the vision to bring light to the massive viticultural potential of the Castel del Monte area is the Azienda Vinicola Rivera. This area quickly became popular and has set a benchmark of Puglia quality wine production. In the early 1980s, Sebastiano’s son Carlo innovated the vineyards and winemaking. The winery at present is run by their third generation, Carlo’s sons Sebastiano and Marco.

Following a natural philosophy

The blend of updated viticultural practices and natural processes is the philosophy of this vineyard and is applied in every step of the process from vineyard management, grape harvest, winemaking, maturing and bottling. This makes every activity environmentally friendly, economic and improves the quality to great extent.

Experience great red wines

One of the greatest wineries of Italy is the Rivera estate. This winery excels with fairly priced and beautiful reds. The grape varietals grown in this vineyard are Nero di Troia, Bombino Nero, Primitivo, Negroamaro, Moscato di Trani, Bombino Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. These varietals are picked to make the red, white, rose and dessert wines of distinctive taste and texture. The winery produces wine of various appellation. Some of them are Castel del Monte DOC, Primitivo di Manduria DOC, Salice Salentino DOC, Locorotondo DOC, Moscato di Trani DOC, Salento IGT and Puglia IGT.
