A Rich History Since 1992
The story of Talai Berri Txakolina began in 1992 when Bixente Eizaguirre, inspired by his family's legacy, established this winemaking estate. With a passion for the craft and a dedication to sustainable practices, he implemented the Integrated Production System to ensure high-quality wines that reflect the Getariako Txakolina DO status.
12 Hectares of Unique Vineyards
Spanning 12 hectares, the vineyards are situated in the prestigious Getariako Txakolina region. Here, Bixente cultivates two distinctive local grape varieties: Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza. During harvest, the team meticulously selects the finest bunches, which are then transported to the cellar for processing. The result is a range of authentic wines, complemented by exceptional vinegar production.
The cellar at Talai Berri Txakolina Winery welcomes visitors and features large stainless steel tanks designed for optimal grape fermentation. Experience the unique flavors of Txakolina in northern Spain and learn about the winemaking process firsthand.
