Following footsteps of the ancestors
The story was started in 1821 by the ancestors of Paolo Patruno. Since the beginning, the company has been involved in the organic production of grapes. The passion for producing delicious wines has been transferred from father to son. Several generations of the Patruno family have committed themselves to deliver one of the premium Italian wines.
Some of the famous wines of the winery are mouth-watering reds and whites, along with rose, sparkling, and dessert wines, all under DOC Gioia Del Colle labels
Taste delicious red Primitivo and white Verdeca
Cultivated with traditional viticulture practices, the vineyards grow a wide range of berries, comprising high-quality Primitivo di Gioia del Colle and Verdeca. These two are the primary grape varieties of the winery. The manor farm is surrounded by lush rows of vines, leaving a splendid view of the scenic beauty. Beside the farmhouse, there exists the wine cellar, where selected bunches are processed.
Inside the cellar, a dedicated space for ageing and refining is present, where barrels and barriques, along with stainless steel tanks, are beautifully place forming straight lines. Apiculture, rich biodiversity, strictly organic farming and the latest winemaking techniques confirm the winery’s full respect for Mother Nature.
