We have arrived without no reservation. They gave us such a great experience, wonderful wine tasting, amazing food and great hosts. Please visit this place you deserve that kind of happiness in your life. Best recommendation and for sure we will come back!!!!

Even though I stayed just for one night, I had the most wonderful experience @Tenuta del Gelso. Arriving at the property by car was very impressive because of the beautiful fauna. Most of all, I have to point out the hospitality of Danylo, a co-worker at the reception (& a very talented musician, by the way!) - he made my stay even nicer. I would be glad to come again!

Very good location for departure to the airport. Very clean hotel. Huge and beautiful garden, beautiful pool, but plane overhead. Spacious room. Decor style not my style but part of the place. We did not like the meal but for 30€ per person with a glass of wine.. they were also very nice to offer us a glass of wine on arrival and a fruit juice for our early departure as well as homemade pies. 🙏

Perfect hotel next to the airport. Magnificent building, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Impeccable service and welcome.

Highly recommended! Everyone took care of us so well that we truly felt at home since the first day. The food was amazing, all the staff was so sweet and caring even when we had some car issues and needed help. You can really take some rest and recharge. We miss it already.

We stayed 4 nights, upon arrival the welcome with Danilo was just perfect, the rooms are magnificent and warm in a family setting, the breakfast is well stocked and for the end of the day we had dinner in the evening... a nice menu with lots of Italian flavors and all washed down with a good Etna wine.... We will be back

It was a wonderful experience, I must say that the main reason for our happiness, in staying in this structure, is the kindness and availability of the employees ... they welcomed us really well and were available for all our needs. Above all, fast and friendly! The structure is beautiful, the room excellent .. clean and refrigerated. The room overlooked directly the park with swimming pool. Excellent and intercontinental breakfast. We thank you very much for these days spent with you .... we made a reservation with a wheelchair and they have accessible rooms, they have a wooden ramp and accessible bathroom (a little help is needed for the entrance step) but everything very doable! A special and relaxing place suitable for any occasion. The location is suitable for any type of event. It is special, refined and elegant. I recommend the tastings: unmissable experiences. It is possible to spend a day in company, immersed in peace and nature a few kilometers from the center. Quality wine, accompanied by excellent food and very helpful staff. For overnight stays, the structure offers tidy and clean rooms, a garden and swimming pool for absolute relaxation. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic time at Tenuta del Gelso. It is a great place for solo travelers or small groups and offers lots of fun activities like wine tastings, cooking classes, and eco tours. The main villa is surrounded by a large citrus grove and is full of history, with an ancient palmento that takes you back in time. The pool is a nice bonus for relaxing. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay really enjoyable. Overall, Tenuta del Gelso is a hidden gem for those looking for a luxurious place with an authentic touch. I can't wait to go back!

I have been to tenuta del gelso several times and each time I find it more and more magical. The place is beautiful and you feel transported into the history of this old Palmento. Excellent food and top wine. The rooms are very clean and large and some with a beautiful view. I will definitely be back ☺️

I have been there twice already, a place full of character, history and very very close to the city and the main roads. It is welcoming, all the staff very kind. I appreciate the home-made food with high quality and local ingredients. I appreciate the excellent wine and the location in the middle of the greenery. Each room has a lot of personality. It is good for business trips and for families.

A group of us had lunch at a buffet. The quality was acceptable. No dessert. The exterior was very pretty.

Nice hotel with a long history. The old winery impresses with its historic charm and overgrown walls. Pros: - Very nice complex with a historic setting and a large pool - Large and clean rooms with air conditioning - Reception is not staffed 24/7, but someone is available 24/7 - Very friendly and attentive staff - Very good breakfast with a good and fresh selection of local specialties - Very good location, both close to the city center and the airport - Good wine Cons: - The proximity to the airport unfortunately has its drawbacks due to the low-flying aircraft. - The hotel entrance is difficult to see and dangerous if you don't want to make a detour of several kilometers. - Dinner is almost inedible. Antipasti was very good. The pasta dish was moderately fatty, and the meat dish was almost inedible. The food was poorly presented and poorly seasoned. However, the service at dinner was good and attentive. I would advise against dinner here. We stayed two nights and would do it again, although without dinner.

We were here for a great wine tasting of Etna wines! The host is very welcoming and serves up a good meal! Not only was the wine served delicious, but so was the small snack buffet! There was delicious bread and antipasti. The atmosphere is very cozy, authentic and pretty to look at. There are also toilets, which were also very clean. The plantations, plants and flowers can be admired outside. There are also overnight accommodation options here, but we did not use them. We had a lovely time at the Tenuta del Gelso.

An excellent wine tasting that we really enjoyed - Grazie Mille, Frederico! The explanations about the wines of the Etna region were informative and entertaining and the atmosphere in the 19th century building was incomparable - next time we will try to book rooms in the winery.

A small lunch buffet with house specialties was prepared for our tour group. Orange salad, rigatoni con pesto, home-baked bread, home-made orange and grapefruit jam and much more. At a small wine tasting, we were able to try the white wine, rosé and red wine. All products could also be bought to take away in a shop. We also took a tour of the orange plantation and received a lot of interesting information.

Similar to a farmhouse. The building has a lot of charm and the food is very good.
