As you arrive at the historic Palmento, our friendly team will greet you and guide you through an unforgettable tasting session. Available in Italian, English, and French, this experience highlights the distinctive wines of Mount Etna.

During the tasting, you will sample four of our DOC wines: two refreshing whites, a robust red, and a vibrant rosé. Each wine is paired with a selection of local specialties, featuring traditional peasant dishes reimagined with a modern twist. This combination of flavors showcases the rich culinary heritage of the region.

An excellent wine tasting that we really enjoyed - Grazie Mille, Frederico! The explanations about the wines of the Etna region were informative and entertaining and the atmosphere in the 19th century building was incomparable - next time we will try to book rooms in the winery.

Even though I stayed just for one night, I had the most wonderful experience @Tenuta del Gelso. Arriving at the property by car was very impressive because of the beautiful fauna. Most of all, I have to point out the hospitality of Danylo, a co-worker at the reception (& a very talented musician, by the way!) - he made my stay even nicer. I would be glad to come again!

Very good location for departure to the airport. Very clean hotel. Huge and beautiful garden, beautiful pool, but plane overhead. Spacious room. Decor style not my style but part of the place. We did not like the meal but for 30€ per person with a glass of wine.. they were also very nice to offer us a glass of wine on arrival and a fruit juice for our early departure as well as homemade pies. 🙏
