Varvaglione 1921: A Legacy of Puglian Winemaking

Quite a positive experience with explanation and information on everything concerning the wine production itself and the tasting.

Great experience! We had a lovely and very informative (private) tour followed by a tasting. We started at the private mansion and then had the tasting in the second location at the production. Can really recommend and if we return to Puglia, we will definitely visit again. Do book in advance!

A large cellar, elegant and refined. A historic brand I would say, where you can buy a certain number of wines, from white, to rosé, to red, all of excellent quality, at very convenient prices. The sales staff is extremely kind and polite. Compliments.

Historic cellar. Excellent selection of wines both in bulk and in bottles: semi-sweet and dry primitivo, negramaro, white malvasia, black malvasia, chardonay, etc. The loose sweet primitivo is excellent, full-bodied and fragrant. I have tried several bottled wines and they are excellent. The girl who served us was kind and professional. Excellent quality/price ratio.

Great wines, good value for money, you can find both bottles and fill your plastic tanks for supply if you’re staying a while. Personnel is nice and helpful.

Sweet Primitivo or exquisite dessert wine, as well as Negroamaro, are available, along with large quantities of rosé, Chardonnay, Malvasia, and Talsanello, priced between €1.20 and €2.50 per liter. If you don't bring your own container, you'll have to buy the 5-liter canister for €1. Many other wines and some oils are also perfectly displayed. The staff is a bit hasty. If you'd like, you can ask for a wine tasting.

Delicious wines for awesome prices. The Papale Primitivo wine is smooth and nice along with the 12 e Mezzo wines selections. The prices directly from this winery are fantastic and the employees helping are pleasant. They are also very responsive to email questions. I am looking forward to going back for a wine tasting which you must or pre-book.
