Winery with a story dating back to 1936 – Villa Vinifera
is situated in the heart of the mountains near the Brestovitsa Vllage and was established in 1936. The estate was built by a German architect with the highest level of professionalism and its first name was Misket. Since then the winery has never stopped producing the finest quality wines and prides itself on producing limited edition wines for its valued guests and customers. The people working in the winery have a passion for wine and wine production and their efforts show in the unique taste of the wine produced.
The winery makes Ice wine, as well a special collection for the customers who want to buy and preserve their own barrel of wine
The winery produces wines from the varieties of Mavrud, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscat, Chardonnay, and Traminer
At Villa Vinifera each bottle of wine is produced with love and careful attention and the vineyards are able to produce the most excellent grapes because of the ideal climatic conditions and their geographical location. The estate produces arrays of Mavrud, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscat, Chardonnay, and Traminer to create a range of wines that satisfy man different wine drinkers. The difference between Villa Vinifera and other wineries is that all wines are fermented in large oak vats increasing the alcohol content to a higher percentage and further improving the wine’s flavor and aroma. The winery boasts three levels of winemaking at its facility where the historic oak barrels can be found.

The cellar has an annual production capacity of about 6700 bottles, a large portion of which is set to age. The winery has five lines of wine: King’s Wine Red and King’s Wine White (fruit-forward New World-style single-varietal wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Mavrud, Merlot, Muscat, Traminer, chardonnay), Barrel Fermented (more complex single varietal wines aged in barrels, made following Old World principles), Special Collection (Rosé From Mavrud, the La Cave blend of merlot and cabernet sauvignon, and the succulent Ice Wine made from Mavrud) and the VIP Collection (private firms can have barrels of wine set aside for their own use).
