Designed by a skilled German architect, the estate was originally named Misket and has maintained its commitment to quality wine production over the decades. At Villa Vinifera, every bottle is crafted with meticulous care. The winery benefits from ideal climatic conditions and a prime geographical location, allowing for the cultivation of superior grapes. The estate produces a variety of wines, including Mavrud, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Muscat, Chardonnay, and Traminer. Each wine undergoes fermentation in large oak vats, enhancing its flavor and aroma. The facility features three levels of winemaking, showcasing historic oak barrels that contribute to the unique character of the wines.

A Diverse Selection of Wines

Villa Vinifera has an annual production capacity of approximately 6,700 bottles, with a significant portion reserved for aging. The winery offers five distinct lines of wine, including King’s red and white wines, which are fruit-forward, single-varietal selections. Additionally, barrel-fermented wines provide a more complex profile, adhering to traditional winemaking principles. Notable offerings include a rosé crafted from Mavrud, the La Cave blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and a luscious ice wine made from Mavrud. The VIP Collection allows private firms to reserve their own barrels for exclusive use.
