Dragomir Winery Estate: A Vision of Two Scientists

Dragomir Winery Estate was founded by two Bulgarian scientists with a mission to reshape the perception of Bulgarian wines. Their goal was to craft wines that are not only appealing but also offer a diverse range of tasting experiences. With a commitment to quality and a passion for innovation, the winemakers ensure that each bottle reflects their expertise and dedication to the craft.

All wines at Dragomir Winery Estate are aged in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months.

Quality Production at Dragomir Winery

At Dragomir Winery, the focus is on producing high-quality blends from carefully selected grapes. The vineyard maintains strict monitoring throughout the growing season to ensure optimal grape quality. With an annual production of just 60,000 bottles, the winery offers limited editions that cater to both casual wine drinkers and connoisseurs alike. Each wine undergoes a mandatory aging process, enhancing its character and complexity.

Award-Winning Wines and Unique Flavors

Despite being relatively new, Dragomir Winery has already gained international recognition. Their Karizma wine earned a Silver Medal at the prestigious Vinalies Internationales in Paris. The winery is known for its unique approach to blending grape varieties, resulting in wines rich in flavor and aroma. One standout, Amrita, has been affectionately dubbed ‘immortality nectar’ due to its minimal technological intervention and reliance on natural processes. Dragomir wines are perfect for unwinding after a long day or enjoying with friends.

Best winery in the country, or maybe in Europe. Owners and staff treat us like family and we LOVE the wine. Our cellar is usually full of their wines. Let’s just hope that Natalia decides to create a restaurant here!! Brestnik’s residents would be SOO grateful 👍🇧🇬🙏🙏

Beautiful winery with guided tours in English, we met the owner Natalia (I remember it because it is also the name of some of the wines) and we were served by a charming guide who explained everything very well (but I can't remember her name). We combined the tasting with some very tasty breads and cheeses. The owner came over and let us taste her best reserve. We met another Spanish couple and they liked it too.
