Experience the Charm of Bulgarian Wine in Thracian Valley
Villa Yustina Winery: A Modern Winemaking Gem
Founded in 2006, Villa Yustina Winery quickly gained recognition with the establishment of its first 20 hectares of vineyards in 2008. By 2014, the vineyard area expanded to 42 hectares, supported by a Euro Project that facilitated the construction of a state-of-the-art wine cellar. Nestled at the foot of the Rhodopi Mountains in Ustina Village, just 26 km from Plovdiv, this winery is a testament to Bulgaria's rich winemaking heritage.
The winery aims to craft small batches of high-quality boutique wines, aged in carefully selected barrels.
Vineyard Varieties
Located 4 km from the winery, the vineyards thrive at an altitude of 300 meters on a northeast-facing slope. This ideal terroir supports the growth of a diverse range of grape varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Aligote, Gewurztraminer, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Mavrud, and Rubin. Villa Yustina Winery focuses on producing exceptional still and sparkling wines from its own grapes while promoting tourism in the estate and surrounding region.
Award-Winning Wines
A standout feature of Villa Yustina is its experimental base showroom, Tomika Metal AD, which enables the winery to innovate and produce various wine styles using cutting-edge technology. This commitment to quality has earned the winery numerous awards and medals from prestigious international wine competitions, showcasing its place in the global winemaking arena.
