Attanasio Family-Run Winery

For four generations, the Attanasio family has been dedicated to crafting exceptional wines. This family-owned winery, led by father and son, is nestled in a stunning landscape characterized by olive groves and vineyards, bordered by the Ionian and Adriatic seas. The unique microclimate, influenced by warm Mediterranean winds, contributes to the rich flavors of their wines.

Wines Crafted with Care

The winemaking process at Vinicola Attanasio begins with a meticulous selection of grapes sourced from the finest vineyards in Salento. The grapes mature in the vineyard, ensuring optimal quality and freshness. Fermentation occurs in large oak vats, preserving the wine's authentic taste. The family employs both American oak barrique and French Allier barrique, resulting in wines with distinct and complex characters.

Terroir of Salento

Located in the southeastern corner of Puglia, the Salento region boasts a rich winemaking history that spans over 2,500 years. Its picturesque rolling hills and fertile vineyards thrive in sandy soils rich in calcium carbonate, clay, limestone, volcanic ash, and marine sediments. This unique combination of coastal and mountainous climates creates ideal conditions for producing grapes with remarkable depth and flavor.

Excellent wines, but the oil is addictive! As well as the place and the managers. Puglia in a glass and a slice of bread.

Not very easy to find, but the effort is amply rewarded by the quality of the wines and the hospitality of Mrs. Paola. Absolutely recommended tasting, aesthetically very beautiful labels and very pleasant wines despite the high alcohol content typical of the area. Come on over!

Refinement, tradition and originality to be tasted, Carlo Attanasio's wines have something unique! A true point of reference for the palate and above all the kindness and infinite availability of the staff and Carlo! The oil it produces is also wonderful!
