Weingut Arnold, established in 1673, is nestled in one of Germany's most historic wine regions, Franken. With 12 generations of winemaking expertise, this family-owned winery has mastered the art of producing exceptional wines. Their dedication to quality has earned them a prestigious membership in the elite German Association of Wineries, which includes only the top 200 wineries across the country, showcasing the rich tradition of German winemaking worldwide.

Diverse Vineyards in Frankonia

The Arnold family cultivates grapes across five distinct vineyards surrounding their cellar. The Pfülben vineyard features a steep slope of up to 60 degrees, recognized as a prime location for premium wines. Kapellenberg boasts sandy soils that enhance the maturity and fruitiness of rare grape varieties like Scheurebe and Domina. Another notable vineyard, Teufelskeller, translates to "Devil’s Cellar," and the winemakers are always eager to share the intriguing story behind its name. Additionally, Marssberg, named after the ancient god of war, and Sonnenstuhl, meaning "Sunchair," add to the unique character of their vineyards.

A Pyramid of Quality

Weingut Arnold produces a wide range of wines, including red, white, sparkling, and sweet varieties. They feature both well-known grapes like Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Riesling, as well as local specialties such as Blauer Zweigelt, Spätburgunder, and Bacchus. To ensure quality, the winery follows the Pyramid of Quality system. At the base are VDP.GUTSWEINE, aromatic wines best enjoyed young. The next level, VDP.ORTSWEINE, showcases regional characteristics from Randersacker and Eibelstadt. The top tiers, VDP.ERSTE LAGE and VDP.GROSSE LAGE, represent exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
