In the Vineyards of Franconia

Weingut Schenk practices sustainable viticulture and works in the cellar to protect the environment and their vines’ health for the future. During spring, they water the vines and prepare new vines hoping to harvest ripe grapes to make excellent wines. The pruning of vines takes place in the winter after the nature becomes colorful and autumn arrives.

Grape Varieties of the Winery

The wines at Weingut Schenk tell of their grapes’ quality and the unique features of their terroir. The main grape varieties grown on their estate are Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Bacchus, Domina, and Scheurebe. The best grapes go into producing their famous red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines. The winery staff is amiable and loves passing their knowledge and experience on to guests.
