Celebrating 150 Years of Grape Growing and Winemaking in Alsace
The Rich Heritage of Wunsch et Mann
Wunsch et Mann has a storied history that dates back to 1793, rooted in the picturesque hillsides of Wettolsheim. The Mann family has been cultivating grapes since that time, and in 1948, Joseph Wunsch and Joseph Mann established the winery. Today, Wunsch et Mann produces approximately 200,000 bottles of wine each year, showcasing the legacy of generations of winemaking expertise.
Crafting Exceptional Wines
The vineyard spans over 20 hectares, with grapes sourced primarily from the charming villages of Eguisheim, Wettolsheim, Colmar, and Wintzenheim. Since 2008, the estate has embraced organic farming practices, ensuring the highest quality grapes. The winery offers three signature wines: “Steingrubler,” “Hengst,” and “Pfersigberg.” Each wine is known for its aromatic finesse and robust character, making them a true reflection of the Alsace terroir.
