Domaine Heywang, a family-run artisanal estate in the heart of nature

In Heiligenstein, Alsace, our small family estate covers 7 hectares of organically managed vines. Our cellars are located directly in the heart of the vineyards, just at the foot of Mont Sainte-Odile. We cultivate all Alsatian grape varieties, as well as Savagnin Rose, which produces Klevener de Heiligenstein, a village specialty since 1742.

In the vineyard as in the cellar, our approach is artisanal, patient, and respectful of natural rhythms. We have been certified organic since 2011: no chemical weedkillers or insecticides, controlled yields, and a commitment to letting our terroirs speak for themselves.

Our vintages, often sold after a few years in the bottle, range from dry to sweet, with pride of place for Klevener de Heiligenstein , this ancient and rare grape variety unique to Alsace.

Throughout the year, we offer you:

  • Visit to the cellar and tasting of our wines Presentation of the estate, Alsace wines, visit to the cellar, tasting of 5 wines chosen from our range.
  • The Senses of Wine An immersive tasting experience to test your 5 senses!
  • Wine Painting Workshop With Laurent Bessot, painter, we offer you an introduction to painting with red wine and beer... accompanied by a tasting of course!
  • Wines and Flavors We take you on a stroll through our village and our vineyards... and at the end of the path, a table set for a country-chic dinner in the heart of our vineyard!
  • Gourmet Aperitif at the Independent Winemaker Over an aperitif, come and discover unique and delicious food and wine pairings accompanied by a selection of our organic wines.

  • New Wine Evening (end of September) The “neier siesser” in Heywang style: fermenting wine, charcuterie, cheese, nuts, bread… And a friendly atmosphere guaranteed
