Sommelier Cristina - Food&Wine Tours

My name is Cristina, I am a wine and oil sommelier and also an official taster of cured meats and cheeses and the world of food and wine and the diffusion of food and wine culture have been my passion for over 15 years. I would like to convey my passion to you and let you know my region better through our traditional products. I would like to accompany you to visit some of the most famous and evocative wineries in the Cagliari area, the dairies and oil mills in the area, and tell you the fascinating stories of our typical products and the people who produce them and then accompany you in the sensorial experience of tasting. I'm waiting for you to embark on a tasting journey of Sardinia together!

We will visit the second largest and most important winery in Sardinia, located just 20 km from the city of Cagliari, in the heart of the area called "Parteolla", famous for its vocation for the production of wine and oil.
We will visit all the production areas including the barrel cellar where the most important and award-winning wines of the cellar evolve. In the months of August, September and October it will also be possible to witness all phases of the harvest (excluding the harvesting of the grapes). You will see how a wine is made and all the processes necessary to obtain a product exported all over the world. I will tell you the fascinating story of its birth way back in 1949 and of the rich territory in which it is located. I will tell you about the characteristics of our wines and the secrets to recognizing their quality. We will conclude the visit with the tasting of 3 wines paired with some excellent local food and wine products (cheeses and cured meats), comfortably seated in the elegant tasting room of the cellar.
