Experience the Wines and Olive Oil from La Casetta Family
Beautifully located on the first hills of the Tuscan-Romagnol Apennines, La Casetta is a family-based winemaking estate that was established in 1963. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, the winery produces wines from the grapes collected from their own vineyards. Besides wines, the winery is also a certified producer of extra virgin olive oil.
A True Family-Run Winery
The tale began in the early 60s when Antonio and Angelo founded the precious estate to support their passion for winemaking. Later in the 1970s, Giuseppe Bartolini, a son-in-law of Antonio, joined the company and with great dedication, he expanded the family business. At present, the third and fourth generation manage the administration of the winery, ranging from the cultivation of vines to the selling of wines. With innovation and tradition, the family has brought many new changes in the wine cellar and vineyards to enhance the quality of their wines.
Sustainable Philosophy, Using Renewable Resources in the Winery
Michele and Davide, members of the latest generation, have introduced photovoltaic systems in the winery to pay respect towards the environment and biodiversity. For field mapping, the owner uses a drone to identify any shortage area quickly. On the cultivation land, owners grow a broad array of rapes, including top-class Sangiovese, Pignoletto, and Trebbiano, along with unique Albana. In the wine cellar of La Casetta Azienda Agricola, delightful red, white, and rosé wines are produced in combination with high-quality sparkling and dessert wines. La Casetta Azienda Agricola also produces extra virgin oil from their olive groves and typical products of the region, such as Saba. You can buy their tasty products during your visit to the estate.
