A Legacy of Winemaking
The story of La Casetta began in the early 1960s when Antonio and Angelo founded the estate to pursue their passion for winemaking. In the 1970s, Giuseppe Bartolini, Antonio's son-in-law, joined the team and played a crucial role in expanding the family business. Today, the third and fourth generations manage the winery, overseeing everything from vine cultivation to wine sales. By blending innovation with tradition, the family has implemented numerous improvements in both the wine cellar and vineyards to enhance the quality of their offerings.
Commitment to Sustainability
Michele and Davide, the latest generation of the family, have integrated photovoltaic systems into the winery to promote environmental sustainability. They utilize drone technology for efficient field mapping, allowing them to quickly identify areas needing attention. The estate cultivates a diverse range of grape varieties, including the renowned Sangiovese, Pignoletto, Trebbiano, and the unique Albana. La Casetta produces a delightful selection of red, white, and rosé wines, as well as sparkling and dessert wines. Additionally, their olive groves yield exceptional extra virgin olive oil and regional specialties like Saba, which visitors can purchase during their stay at the estate.

Write a reviewThis is our second visit to this beautiful farmhouse, where there's no shortage of attention and excellent food. An aperitif is offered, a rich platter of quality products, and first courses are plentiful and flavorful. Fantastic desserts, biscuits, and Albanian pastries are also offered.

A beautiful, welcoming and hospitable farmhouse where you can spend an evening for dinner or an afternoon for lunch surrounded by greenery among the vineyards. Excellent homemade food and the wines they produce are really good. I recommend a good wine like "Sofia or David". The waiters are very kind and the service is perfect. What can I say... I recommend it to everyone. TOP!

Located in the first hills of Castel Bolognese, easy to reach and with easy parking. The separate rooms are beautiful. Friendly and always available staff. I brought a couple of Venetian friends who were delighted with the appetizers and the excellent first courses (I recommend the Strozzapreti triplet... sausage/sangiovese/squaquerone). Excellent vegetables and grilled meats, very well cooked. The wines produced directly by them are very good and there is the possibility of buying them in the cellar next door. I recommend it

Unique place! True farmhouse. Local production of snails! Grandfather's mutton: it melts in your mouth and the portion is immense House wine as the menu says: excellent!!! Worth trying again to see how the other delicacies on the menu are
