Nella campagna Umbra, nella collina appena sotto il borgo medievale di Castello delle forme, nel Comune di Marsciano (Perugia), sul crinale che guarda alla Valle del Tevere, Gianpiero Rossi, coadiuvato dalla moglie Paola e dalle figlie Eleonora e Federica, ha le redini della Piccola Cantina Rossi. L’azienda agricola vitivinicola biologica (ICEA) naturale (Associata VinNatur) di 5 ettari; di cui quattro a vigneto e uno a oliveto, produce prevalentemente vini IGT “Umbria” in bottiglia e in bag in box e olio extra vergine di oliva. In vigneto l'obiettivo è allevare piante sane e predisposte ad una elevata resistenza alle avversità quindi prestiamo particolare attenzione alla fertilità biologica del suolo, alla tutela della biodiversità e all'equilibrio dell’ecosistema vigneto, dove pratichiamo: l’inerbimento autoctono nei corridoi tra i filari; l’ ossigenazione e lavorazione autunnale del suolo; gestione dell'erba con sfalcio; uso di prodotti a base di zolfo per contrastare l'oidio uso di prodotti a base di rame per contrastare peronospora; vendemmia manuale. I lavori vengono eseguiti con un trattore. In cantina le uve esclusivamente di propria produzione. vengono pressate con torchio manuale verticale in legno, le fermentazioni avvengono spontaneamente con uso esclusivo di lieviti indigeni e le temperature non sono controllate. Nella vinificazione l’ unico additivo/ingrediente ammesso è l'anidride solforosa e i nostri vini non vengono filtrati. Il vino in bottiglia ha un quantitativo di anidride solforosa totale non superiore a 50 mg/litro per vini bianchi, e non superiore a 30 mg/litro per vini rossi e rosati e indichiamo la quantità di solforosa in etichetta.

I bought Baginbox wine on the website, the San Giovese is a good wine, very harmonious, the Sabatta surprised me, very tasty and pleasant, the Merlot is really excellent. I hope to try the other wines too. Congratulations, you can recognize the authenticity of the product.

Piccola Cantina Rossi is a small family business that produces organic natural wines: Gianpiero, with his wife Paola and daughters Eleonora and Federica, continues a passion that began in 2000 with the founding of the winery, initially together with his brothers. Gianpiero and his family are happy to welcome new and old friends for tastings in the historic hall of the old farmhouse or, for larger groups, in the new building just built, but always enjoying the wide selection of organic natural wines. A small winery located on a hill surrounded by greenery, a few steps from the town of Castello delle Forme, with a beautiful vineyard and an enchanting panorama. Family-run winery with excellent atmosphere and good air. They produce white and red wines. I had the pleasure of tasting the reds, all very good. I recommend their wines and a visit to see the beauty and simplicity of this winery.
