A Winery with Rich Heritage

Casali del Toppello is nestled in Mantignana di Corciano (PG), Italy. Established in 2009, this winery was born from the renovation of historic farmhouses and land that once belonged to a farm dating back to the early 1900s. The estate is steeped in history, with remnants of an ancient Roman settlement found among the olive trees on the property. Our mission is to produce high-quality organic wines and extra virgin olive oil, blending modern techniques with traditional practices.

Vineyards and Terroir

Spanning over 8 hectares, our vineyards are part of the DOC Colli del Trasimeno. We cultivate a variety of grapes, including Sangiovese (clone grosso), Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Gamay del Trasimeno for reds, as well as Grechetto, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano Toscano for whites. Situated at an altitude of 380 meters above sea level, our vineyards benefit from ideal exposure and climate, producing red wines that pair beautifully with the rich culinary traditions of Umbria.

We stayed a week and it was wonderful. The apartment was welcoming, clean and had everything you needed. Unforgettable panorama. Beautiful swimming pool. The owner, an exceptional person, kind, helpful, polite, gave us a hand with a car problem. Its wine and oil very tasty. We will definitely be back. It deserves it. Thanks ❤

2024: In July 2024 we landed at the Casali del Toppello again as part of our tour of Italy. Again, everything was special!! I made a mistake when booking. Alessandro took great care of us and we were able to spend wonderful days there again. Enjoyed the most wonderful days again! 2019: I did a small tour of Italy in 2019. I was near Lake Garda, in the Maremma, in Lazio (Giardino di Ninfa), Umbria and Veneto - always in an agriturismo. But I have to say: the Casali del Toppello was the best of all!!! I hope we can visit together with my family...... Greetings from Augusta

The place is very nice and quiet, the room is very clean and spacious! The view is beautiful and the owner is nice and helpful. We were able to taste the olive oil and wines which are very good. We would come back with great pleasure!

A wonderful experience, tasting wines that also tell the story of the company. Mr. Alessandro, the owner, welcomed us excellently and involved us with his explanations during the tasting. Very beautiful location, surrounded by vineyards. We had a really exciting afternoon!
