Tenuta Dioscuri: A Legacy of Fine Wines  

White passito wine “Montonico” IGP Locride from the Dioscuri estate. The white Mantonico grapes seem to have arrived in Locride with the landing of the first Greek colonists in the 7th century BC. The name derives from the Greek mantonikos which means soothsayer, prophet. In fact, the wine obtained was used by the priests of ancient Locri Epizephyrii to celebrate ceremonies. Wine with a characteristic amber color, with hints of dried fruit and apricot and a strong and intense flavour.
