Proudly continuing the family tradition
Tunella is a family-run winery and estate located in the Friuli Venezie Giulia region in Italy. The winery has passed through three generations of the Zorzettig family starting with the grandfather and then on to the dad. Today the winery is run by the two sons Massimo and Marco together with their mother. The vision and mission at Tunella are to proudly continue the family’s winemaking history and traditions while blending this with the finest in modern winemaking technology.
Although Tunella has a strong history, special attention is paid to each of the winemakers who have made the farm what it is today.
The philosophy of the current winemakers is to ‘do a little better’ working on the foundations set by their predecessors
Sustainable wine production at Tunella
Each bottle of Tunella wine is made what it is thanks to the land and weather conditions where the grapes are grown. The estate and all of its practices are firmly grounded in the principles of sustainable wine production, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same luxuries as we have today. The low environmental impact of the winery is thanks to integrated pest control measures to reduce the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
