Villa Vitas Winery is located in the enchanting village of Strassoldo, between the beautiful cities of Aquileia and Palmanova. The winery began production in the early 1900s as a wine company in Porto Franco. The love of viticulture made founder Romano Vitas buy the Strassoldo property in 1937. For more than 100 years, the Vitas Family has dedicated themselves to producing high-quality wines with passion and love. Their historic villa, built in the 18th century, is in a large park in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The vineyards of Villa Vita are located on a plain with clay soils rich in minerals. The nearby sea and the surrounding mountains create a microclimate that is perfect for the growth and cultivation of vines. The main grapes grown include Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Cabernet Franc, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer Aromatico, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These grapes are used to make their exquisite red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines. The owners place a lot of importance in sustainability. They adopted new techniques that protect their natural resources and the surrounding environment.
