Cormons winery’s story started in 1968 when a meeting among people established a unique Cantina for the quality of wines and for the special initiatives. Over one hundred and twenty winemakers welcome you to the heart of Europe, to the extreme north-eastern part of Italy, to the Friuli Venezia Giulia from the world’s most prestigious wine-growing areas. They invite you to discover the Cantina Produttori Cormòns, established at the end of the Sixties for the foresight of some winemakers from Cormòns, who wanted to learn from centuries-old traditions.

Cormon winery is focused on the care of the vineyards for growing the best grapes. There around 400 hectares of vineyards, and all the pruning times, cultivation works, agriculture work, etc. are noted. There are eight meteorological stations too which record any kind of climate change in the region. The best wine growing areas here are Isonzo, Eastern Hills, and Collio. Many grape varieties are grown here, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Prosecco, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Bianco, Traminer, Malvasia Istriana, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Verduzzo, Picolit, etc.

A great place for wine and art lovers
Since the early 1980s, many famous artists were called to paint and decorate the Slavonian oak barrels used for ageing the wines. The diversity of artists and their different styles and techniques have made Cormon winery a great place for both the lovers of art and wine.
