Tasting recommended for lovers of bubbles, for those who want to discover the differences between a classic method and a Martinotti, and for those who want to savor the expressiveness of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in sparkling winemaking. The experience includes a guided tour of the winery with the owner Roberto, or his daughter, who is also an oenologist, Rebecca. We will also visit the company vault where the classic method bottles rest and here we will explain the differences between the two sparkling winemaking methods, letting you observe up close the stacks of bottles of sparkling wine with the yeasts still inside. After that we will move to the panoramic room or, in case of good weather and according to your preferences, also to the terrace and here we will serve you a basket of fresh bread, focaccia, breadsticks and a platter of mixed family-produced cold cuts. The wines chosen for this tasting are:
- Charmat method Chardonnay “The Controversial”
- Classic method Oltrepò Pavese Pinot noir Zero Dosage 48 months on the lees
- Classic Method Chardonnay Brut 36 months on the lees
