Modern Cultivation Methods at Domaine Jordy
Etienne Mercadier created the estate at the end of the 18th century. Guy and Odette Jordy took over the estate in the sixties and announced the brand – Domaine Jordy. Since then, they have enlarged the vineyard and tried new grape varieties and modern cultivation methods, which act as the Domaine’s flagship today. Now, their son, Frédéric runs the winery and produces excellent wines with his love and passion.
Organic Wine Production
The grape variety with the soil of schist, red soil, ruffe, and rhyolites help produce wines with great elegance, finesse, and freshness. The rich biodiversity makes it possible to avoid the use of insecticide and anti-fungal products. Domaine Jordy wines are all organic in their origin. Domaine Jordy produces excellet white, red, and rosé wines that reflect a sense of place and pride. There is no shortage of enjoyable wine entertainment at the winery.
