Torelli Winery, located in the picturesque hills of Bubbio, has been a family-run business for four generations. Founded by Luigi Torelli and Cresta Giuseppe, the winery made a pivotal shift to organic farming in 1987, emphasizing the unique qualities of the land in every bottle. Today, Gianfranco Torelli oversees the estate, producing approximately 80,000 bottles annually, each reflecting the family's dedication to their heritage and the land.

Rich Biodiversity

Bubbio, nestled in the Langa Astigiana region, boasts a long history of viticulture, with evidence of winemaking dating back to Roman times. The winery has been committed to organic practices for over 27 years, ensuring that the grapes are grown without synthetic chemicals. We stopped for a premium tasting, of 6 types of wines. Super recommended experience, Mr. Torelli is a very welcoming person, he explains both the history of his family and their wine production very well. The cured meats and cheeses to accompany the tasting are very good. All embellished with anecdotes told by the owner Torelli.

We were there on Sunday just before noon with our bikes. We were still allowed to try something without registering and then took various wines and a grappa with us. Because we really liked the wine, we went back on Tuesday to buy more. The Torellis were harvesting and we were able to "intercept" them before lunch. Warm family with excellent products. Absolute recommendation!

Very good wines, which we tasted in advance in the Tre Colline restaurant rather than in the winery. Friendly and very competent - English-speaking - contact person in the store. Unfortunately, we were unable to take the offered tour of the wine cellar due to time constraints.
