The winemaking tradition has been running in the Dahlem family since 1702. Dahlem’s has always been reliable and most renowned winemakers in Rheinhessen. At the beginning of the 1900s, Hans Wilhelm Dahlem started a new production line. He worked hard to make his winery world-known. Today, Axel and Frank Dahlem are taking care of the family enterprise with dedication and commitment. The duo has introduced innovative winemaking technologies in the cellar keeping in mind the changing tastes of wine-lovers.

Winemaking with a great passion and dedication for the product

With great passion, the Dahlem family has distributed the winery work among various members of the family. Klaud and Helga Dahlem take care of the vineyards while Christine, wife of Frank, handles the wine shop. Weingut Dr. Dahlem is a home of various red grapes, such as Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Merlot and Reagent. For whites, the family focuses on the cultivation of fruity Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc.

For those who want to a perfect getaway, the winery offers elegant accommodation facilities

The winery has a fully-equipped apartment with two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. From the terrace, you can explore the beauty of Oppenheim, while sipping on delicious wines. The rooms are furnished with linen bed sheets, along with numerous other facilities for modern guests.
