We had a great relaxing weekend enjoying the views and the serenity. The staff at the cellar door were friendly and welcoming. The lodge was very comfortable for the three of us. We enjoyed the ample breakfast and snack provisions. The kitchen is also equipped well enough to cook simple meals. We recommend Mount Avoca for anyone looking to have some quiet days in the country. Booking all three lodges would probably be pretty great for a family gathering or celebration.

It was a delight catching up with Dave and Kirsten. They seriously know their business and Dave creates stunning wines. Accommodation at Mount Avoca is exceptional; fabulous views, comfortable surrounds and peaceful stillness. I would recommend Mount Avoca to anyone who appreciates the better things in life.

We stayed in Avoca for a weekend and this was the only winery we visited. We chose it because it was a short drive and it had a playground. Our kids are 7 and 10 and were happy on the playground for the 20-30 minutes it took us to leisurely enjoy the tasting session. I could see them the whole time. Thanks Mount Avoca Winery for taking families into consideration! We'll be back in the nicer weather with a picnic! Highly recommend for anyone.
