In the foothills of Matilde, in the municipality of Sant’Ilario d’Enza, lies the Azienda Agricola Moro Rinaldini. It was established in the late sixties by Rinaldo Rinaldidi, the patriarch of the family. The aim of the winery is to produce high-quality wine and gain recognition nationally as well as internationally.
The grapes they use to make the wines are solely harvested from over 15 hectares of their own vineyards and their primary production is Lambrusco. They have multiple selections of red wines as well as a few white, rose and sparkling wines. The winery is built on family values and the newer generations of Rinaldi family have taken helms of the business. So the daughter Paola Rinaldini manages the overall winery with the help of her husband and their son Luca taking over the responsibilities of the vineyards.
When the winery was established back in the day, the decision was made to preserve the ancient vines and through care and determination, the extinction of these vines have been prevented. In the present day, the winery makes use of modern technology and machinery to ensure the quality of wine produced is always high. The winery is an example of perfect harmony between the old and the new.
Take a trip in the heart of Emilia Romagna and visit the beautiful Rinaldini cellars. The walls of these historical cellars have a lot of wonderful stories. Be a part of it and while you are there, don’t forget to try some delicious wines!
