Stripe Connect Guide
For wine experience providers
WineTourism.com uses Stripe secure payment solutions to handle payments going from visitors, through WineTourism.com and out to our partners (the wine experience providers).
How to register?

Step 2
Once you are into your profile page, go to the 'Bank details' section and click on 'Connect my Stripe Account'.

Step 3
If you are new to Stripe, enter an email. In the next step, you will be asked to create a password.
If you already have a Stripe account, enter the email and the password for the account.

Step 4
An email with a verification code will be sent to the email address you entered. Go into your inbox, retrive the code sent to you and enter it here.

Step 9
Add some information on how you want your business ame to appear on receipt and payment statemens.

Step 10
This step is optional, you do not have to fill this in. Click on "No thanks" to continue. You will now be redirected back to your account at WineTourism.com.
Congratulations, your account is now set!

Frequently asked questions about Stripe Connect
What is Stripe?
Why is WineTourism.com using Stripe?
This means that the manual work of requesting payment via invoice will be replaced by an automated payout system where you do not have to request payment from us, nor issue an invoice to get your payment. Payments will be made much more quickly to your Stripe account and bank account!
Will Stripe Connect cost me anything?
We always recommend our partners confirm directly with their own bank that the bank does not apply any additional fees, as this is outside our control.
What do I have to do to activate Stripe in my account?
You will need your bank account details ready, the process takes 5-10 minutes.
Log in here to your WineTourism.com account to start the registration.
How will I be paid once I have connected my Stripe account to WineTourism.com?
We do not have any kind of access to your bank account, we are only able to make payments into your Stripe account. You can then decide in your Stripe account how often you wish to transfer money from your Stripe account to your bank account (once a day, once a week, once a month etc).
How will invoices work? Do I still need to issue an invoice to get paid?
• Invoices will be automatically generated when payment is made for a successfully completed booking.
• Invoices will be recorded and downloadable from your WineTourism.com account.
• The customer receipt of payment is automatically generated via Stripe and will receive a copy as well.
However, you are still responsible for the provision of an invoice to the end customer, should the customer ask for such an invoice.
