How can I travel to Tuscany wine region by air?

The two most important international airports close to wineries in Tuscany are the Galileo Galilei International Airport in Pisa (PSA) and the Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence (FLR).
These airports are located only 80 km apart and Pisa airport is the biggest one. You can easily get the flights to major European cities through both airports, but Pisa has the highest number of low cost flights. If you're flying further abroad, most airlines connect the two airports to a major hub in Italy and Europe.
