SparklingSpain team led by Ágnes Németh renowned international wine expert offers tutored tastings, food and wine tasting sessions, guided walks, organising of winery visits and many other things. We can create a personalised trip to your needs. We are located in the heart of the Spanish sparkling wine production. Can you imagine that more than 85% of Spanish sparkling wines are made in a tiny town called Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, near Barcelona. It is a bit like Epernay in Champagne, but with much better prices. Though Cava is the most well-known Spanish sparkling wine, we offer tastings in "free spirit". Whatever appellation or brand an estate belongs to, we do not care, we only care for quality. Therefore Cava, Corpinnat, Classic Penedés, Conca del Riú Anoia and Cuvée Ancestral sparkling wines can all be included in your tasting flight.

I was born in Hungary, and received my degree in English and journalism, and I also studied European Union subjects (politics, international law, etc.). I was the editor in chief of the market leading printed wine magazine in Hungary (first the Hungarian edition of Decanter, then Vince magazine) for 12 years.
Meanwhile I launched the most prestigious wine show of the time with international wine celebrities like Jancis Robinson MW, Steven Spurrier, Gary Vaynerchuk, Marchese Piero Antinori, Gaia Gaja, Miguel Torres and many others.
Then, seeking for new adventures I moved to Spain, to Catalunya, and settled in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the centre of the Spanish sparkling wine production.
I have lived here for more than 8 years now, and I have established great relationship with the wineries. I managed to find importers for several brands and with SparklingSpain.com I work hard to promote all the sparkling wines of the region.
I regularly judge at international wine contests and usually visit the most important European wine events (this is the reason for the non-bookable dates).
So far more than 1200 people enjoyed our hospitality, and appreciated our service, knowledge and passion. Our team is introduced on SparklingSpain.com website.
