Arthur is a regional authority with twenty-plus years experience in the Mornington Peninsula wine industry including ten years as Global Brand Manager for Stonier Wines, the region's most awarded and largest producer. More recently, he has written numerous articles about the region, hosted a number of specialist wine tastings and written two books about the region's oldest vineyard. His wife, Geraldine McFaul is a highly respected winemaker at Rare Hare part of Jackalope.

Previously Arthur enjoyed a marketing career in the entertainment industry (he took Mr Bean and The Spice Girls around Australia) before wine had him organising the Pinot South Roadshow, and the annual Stonier International Pinot Noir Tasting held in Melbourne, Sydney, and London.

For over a decade Arthur was Global Brand Manager at Stonier Wines before a consulting career led him to writing extensively on the Mornington Peninsula’s wine scene. His two-volume book, Elgee Park Vineyard was commissioned by Baillieu Myer AC with a foreword by Australia’s leading wine writer, James Halliday AM.

Arthur created Plunge Wine Tours specifically for wine lovers; from the casual wine drinker to the seasoned enthusiast.  Each tour is designed to demystify the complexity of wine, while enhancing the knowledge of those already well immersed in their wine education. Arthur is a passionate advocate for the region and continues to search for the richness and textural wealth of great Mornington Peninsula wine.
