Explore the Euganean hills by bike: pedal through the picturesque landscapes of the "hills of venice" on a journey that uncovers local wines and hospitality

You will discover the area of the Euganean Hills that rises in the southern part of Padua and is called also “the hills of Venice” (50 km from Venice).

The tour is an experience that gives you the opportunity to meet wine producers and local farmers. It is a true image of the area you visit and gives a sensation of freedom and relax.

This bike self-guided tour is an opportunity to discover the wine we produce in the Euganean Hills and the authentical Italian hospitality. You will reach cellars by bike and discover how the volcanic origin of these hills influences the soils and the wine production. You will meet Lisa and Francesca that continue the work of their grandfathers with passion and deep respect for the vineyards and this land.

The cultivation of vines, introduced here by the ancient Venetians, today offers excellent results in the numerous cellars of the hills, almost artisan activities. They are family managed companies and the small size, capable of personally interpreting this volcanic land with particular altitudes and microclimates.

The most tipical here are yellow muscat, merlot and cabernet, but also Serprino, Prosecco, Chardonnay, Pinot and some interesting local vines.
