This beautiful introduction to the life of Ohrid region will leave you suitably refreshed in its beauty, its history and its local wines. Stopping at the famous panoramic viewpoint above the Old city of Ohrid for photographs, your journey will continue, for about an hour through the beautiful countryside of Ramne, Leskoec, Velgosti and Kosel. Upon reaching the village you will visit the local vinery where you will have the opportunity to taste the best wines from estate’s portfolio, paired with local products from Macedonia’s fields in a scenic rustic setting. You will be greeted at the winery’s entrance by our qualified staff, who will also lead you to the wine cellar. Following the tour of the winery, you will begin with a degustation on the patio or in the lounge. The guide will go over the traditional philosophy and standards used in the creation of famous vintages throughout the wine tasting.

Moving on to the small village of Velgosti at the foot of Galicica Mountain on the way back, you will visit the Monastery Church of St. Petka which is situated on the upper part of the village where the entire social life of the village takes place. Learn about the Ohrid region traditions as you embark on a journey through history, observing an exhibition of traditional arts and crafts on display before returning to your hotel.
