Hello, my name is Gabby, Wine Fantasy Barcelona.

As a South African native, my passion for wine began when I lived and experienced the country's renown vineyards. When I relocated to Canada, I had a chance to expand my palate and explore a wider range of international wines. With the guidance of some Italian wine experts there, I then found myself with a newfound love for Italian wines. I have travelled the world for Wine and Food and Studied many of the most important courses in Wine in the world of wine, for now I have WSET 3, Wine Scholar Guild - Italian and Spanish Wine Scholar. I am also a VinItaly International Italian Wine Ambassador, this is the hardest exam I ever took, most students don’t pass 1st time round. The magic of this school is that it has connected with me with many amazing humans. I am also apart of a the continuing education programme of VinItaly so I can keep learning about Italian Wine Regions, therefore enhancing connections and enriching my knowledge about wine. I participate in Wie Tastings, daily to keep up to date with the wine scene in Barcelona.

I am lucky enough to call the Catalan region home and my passion for its wine has only grown stronger. My mission is to connect you with some of these magnificent wines and the authentic and passionate winemakers who make them. I am deeply involved in the wine and tourism industry and am excited to take you on a journey of taste and discovery.
