Why I Guide. -
I guide because I love connecting people to this place I call home. Every tour is an opportunity to share what makes South Africa so special—its complexity٫ its beauty٫ and its spirit. Helping guests see it through local eyes٫ and watching their curiosity grow into understanding٫ is what makes this work so rewarding.

My Guiding Style. -
I create relaxed, engaging tours built on meaningful conversation. I encourage questions—especially the tough ones—and tailor each experience to guests’ interests, whether it’s history, culture, nature, or wine. Confident and well-prepared, I guide with authenticity and ease, often including opportunities to connect with locals. These real conversations often become the most memorable moments.

A Local with a Global Perspective. -
Born and raised in South Africa, I’ve lived across the country as well as in Namibia, Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), Sweden, and worked in Norway, the UK, and Israel. These diverse experiences help me explain South African life through a global lens, offering guests a richer, more relatable perspective.

Where Passion Meets Purpose. -
My love for South Africa’s history, culture, nature, and wine shapes everything I do as a guide. I’m passionate about sharing the stories—past and present—that define this land, in ways that are honest and engaging. As a winemaker and nature enthusiast, I enjoy exploring the Cape’s biodiversity, dramatic landscapes, and rich wine heritage with guests.

My tours are done at a relaxed pace with your enjoyment and learning being my priority. Smell. taste and hear each destination.
