Brănești Cellar Wine Tour with Tasting (2 Hours)

Located just 48 km from Chișinău in Orhei district, Brănești Cellars was founded in 1996 and stretches over 58 km of tunnels, 60 meters underground. Covering an area of 75 hectares, the winery is a true hidden gem of Moldova.

During the tour, you’ll explore the impressive underground galleries and visit two beautifully designed tasting halls—one above ground and one deep within the cellars. The interiors, decorated with wood and metal, reflect Moldova’s winemaking traditions and history.

Guests will enjoy a guided tasting of white and red collection wines, sparkling wines, and local specialties, all paired with delicious traditional dishes prepared by skilled chefs. You’ll also have the chance to try the natural mineral water “Poiana Brănești,” bottled from 75 meters below ground.

With its constant 16°C temperature, the cellar provides the perfect conditions for aging and preserving fine wines—making this an unforgettable wine adventure in the heart of Moldova.
