The Grape Escape

If you enjoy cycling in the mountains without actually pedaling and good wines this is the right tour for you. After the pickup in Salou or Cambrils, close to your hotel, we will take you up into the mountains. From there you will be free wheeling downhill on safe, easy to navigate tarmac roads through the magnificent scenery of the Montsant and Priorat countryside.

At the end we will cycle through an old vineyard, operated by a local family, to learn about the growing process of the typical old grapes. From there we had into the village to visit the their bodega to try their award winning wines. The winery is in the family possesion for over 350 year and the current generation still produces the wine the old way, just as their anciestors.
