A Wine and Cheese Pairing you are sure to remember!
We have prepared an ideal tasting activity for those who enjoy the pleasure of drinking wine and eating cheese, two ingredients that pair perfectly. It is not a professional tasting, simply a way to have fun, eating and getting to know the rich gastronomy of Mallorca. Do not expect boring and lengthy technical lectures either: explaining the PH of the wine, the malolactic fermentation, etc.
We will give you some explanations, but focused on curious details and the history of each wine and each cheese, because each of the products that we have chosen has something fascinating.
The Mallorca wine and cheese tasting experience takes place in the evening from around 6pm. We will give you information about each wine and each cheese and you will get to taste all four of each. This is an informal, interactive activity, where you will be encouraged to give your opinion and discuss what you think of the products.
Our four wines have been carefully selected from different bodegas, using different methods of production and different grapes. None of the wines are known commercially and you won't find them on any restaurant menu. We are going to introduce you to local varieties of grapes that you have never heard of.
Alongside the wine tasting, you will get to taste four different cheeses produced in the Balearic Islands. There will be goats cheese and cows cheese, ranging in strength but not in deliciousness!
The price of the wine and cheese tasting experience includes the tasting of four local wines and four cheeses.
