Wine Tour from Madrid

Ribera del Duero is one of the most important Spanish wine regions, known for its full body, intense and complex red wines. Centuries ago, Monks of Cluny arrived at this prestigious region where altitude plays a big role. Misty mornings and hot days in the summer allowed this land of hard-working people to create some of the best wines in the world. Time hasn’t gone by in Ribera del Duero -Heart of Tempranillo or “Tinto Fino” as it’s called by locals. Discovering the artisan way of production, biodynamic winemaking and underground cellars. Meet the winemakers and have lunch at the winery, taste the traditional gastronomy of local produce.

This tour promises a full agenda for an activity-packed day! This tour is a must for those who want to discover the region in one day.

Pick Up at the meeting point:
We start the tour with free pick-up from a central location in Madrid ensuring a comfortable beginning to your wine experience.

Leaving Madrid, we will be heading off to Burgos Ribera del Duero, La Aguilera “the old vines plots town” International awarded winery awaits us, Dominio de Cair, full tour and tasting wines direct from the barrel, as well as other 3 wines made here Selección de la Aguilera, Tierras de Cair & Cruz del Pendón , pairing with an aperitive.

Alvides is the next stop, a family winery. After a few years working with a French wine maker, the third generation decided it was time for them to take control of the project, 3 cousins making fantastic wines.

At this time of the day, we must be hungry. Nabal awaits us, some Tapas lunch will be served here with 3 wines of the house, my favorite Rosé wine is made here and of course we will be serving it for your group among Crianza & Reserva wines.

Valdubon will be the last stop, Laura will host a tasting of 3 of the wines, at this time everyone is looking for a sweet, the wines will be served with some chocolates to finish the day. At least 12 wines today, tapas and more!!!!
